The Swaledale and Arkengarthdale Business Forum would like to invite every business owner and local person in Swaledale and Arkengarthdale to a meeting on Tuesday, 11th June, at 7pm, in the Terrace Room at the CB Inn, Arkengarthdale. Everyone welcome, member or not, business owner or not.

The aim of the meeting is to discuss what organisation and arrangements will need to be made, so as to maximise the value of the Tour de France coming to Swaledale.  Lots of people have already indicated they have many questions to be answered and our local area needs to come together to liaise between ourselves, to make the most of this unique event, in plenty of time before July 2014.

SABF will be hosting the meeting, but will not be responsible for taking charge of any organising. Rather, we are hoping local business proprietors, accommodation providers, shop owners and local people etc will take this opportunity to meet with one another and discuss between ourselves how best to take advantage of this opportunity and make the most of the tourism benefits, as well as distributing the workload equally.

If you have any good ideas about what your village might want to offer, or you want to find out if any neighbours are planning any events etc, this is your chance to meet up and talk.

It's never too soon to start planning for such a huge event; before you know it, 2014 will be well under way!  Come and join us on Tuesday, 11th June, at the CB Inn, 7pm.
Please do let us know if you're planning to attend; Judith Dower, 886366, Debbie Allen, 884931 or Michael Meacock, 886763.
